All About Bullies...Big and Small is a 37 track album focusing on the topic of bullying in a clever way, featuring an eclectic group of artist from classic rock to r&b with the E Street Band's Steve Van Zandt, Eric Brazilian to Bruner & Jones. All About Bullies was created from the heart with 100% of the profits going to the non-profit organization PACER (Parent Advocacy Coalition for Educational Rights.) PACER is responsible for October being National Bulling Prevention Month.
"Bullying is an epidemic in America in many age groups and we thought if we could do something to help prevent bullying in our small way would be great and for the cd to be Grammy nominated is really cool" said Terry. "When one of the team of producers Steve Pullara asked us to be a part of the All About Bullies project we jumped at the chance to write, produce and perform a song for the cd and we are super excited to be a part of the Grammy nominations again" said Helen. When nominations were announced for the 51st Annual GRAMMY® Awards, Bruner & Jones basked in an emotional triple treat: The late Soul Legend Linda Jones (Terry's mother), Terry Jones and Helen Bruner all earned a GRAMMY® nomination for Baby I Know, off the Linda Jones album Soul Talkin for Best Traditional R&B Vocal Performance, produced by Bruner & Jones.
Bruner & Jones are currently on tour supporting their explosive collaboration with aggressive soul siren ChinahBlac a remake of the iconic Labelle classic, What Can I Do For You? and their album Hollyhood which remained #1 on the UK Official Soul Charts for 5 consecutive weeks.

HELEN BRUNER & TERRY JONES AND CHINAHBLAC REMAKE THE LABELLE CLASSIC

(Philadelphia, PA) August 9, 2011, Grammy® Nominated duo Helen Bruner & Terry Jones and Aggressive Soul Siren ChinahBlac have come together to remake the Labelle classic What Can I Do For You to be released on September 13, 2011 on the Philerzy Productions label.
Bruner, Jones, and Blac wanted to pay homage to the iconic Labelle and chose What Can I Do For You because it was a fan favorite and the lyrical content is so timely for what is going on in the world today. "On one of our late night calls I came up with the idea of the three of us recording the song and Helen & Terry said okay come on lets do it, said Chinah. When Ms. Sarah Dash of Labelle found out the ladies covered the Labelle classic she tweeted Helen & Terry "I know you Owned It. Looking forward to hearing it. Call me when you have the listening party." "We were so honored when we received that tweet from the legendary Sarah Dash" said Terry.
The ladies keep the continuity of the original song while adding their own style. " We wanted to stay close to the 1974 original and just update the textures and sounds to 2011, said Helen. The ladies wanted to get as close to the Labelle sound sonically so they called on recording engineer Craig White who recorded & mixed songs for the 2008 Labelle reunion album Back To Now, to help assist in mixing the remake. What Can I Do For You is produced by Bruner & Jones while all three ladies share vocal production credits.
Bruner, Jones and Blac will tour together to support the release of What Can I Do For You and their current individual projects Helen Bruner & Terry Jones cd Hollyhood and ChinahBlac's cd Introducing Eugenia Shata . On July 30, 2011 the ladies gave a surprise performance at the 6th Annual Lincoln Park Music Festival in Newark, NJ to a crowd ten thousand plus who continued to scream for more. On September 13, 2011 Philerzy Productions along with co-sponsors DJ Qua from 98.7 Kiss Fm and Let's Get Em' Entertainment will present the What Can I Do For You release party at the Key Club in downtown Newark, NJ. Bruner, Jones and Blac will take to the stage to perform and DJ Qua will serve as the host for the evening . The documentary Indie Soul a film by Chakka Reeves which follows the artist life of Helen Bruner & Terry Jones will have it's first viewing at the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation Film Festival in Washington DC September 21 - 24 2011. The Congressional Black Caucus Foundation was so impressed with the trailer for Indie Soul they accepted the film. Helen & Terry have also been asked to perform for the festival. Helen Bruner & Terry Jones perform on the new show Music Box on NBC Nonstop. The producers asked Helen & Terry to perform for the tv show which premiered July 1, 2011 in Philadelphia. Music Box is an MTV style unplugged with interviews. Music Box will run all through the summer. Check your local listings.
Helen Bruner & Terry Jones have join forces with soul rocker Chinah Blac to remake the Labelle classic "What Can I Do For You" The ladies will also produce the record to be released in September 2011. As an added bonus there will be a couple of house/dance remixes for the ladies house music fans.

Grammy® nominated artist, producers, #1 songwriters, and innovators Helen Bruner & Terry Jones welcome you to the world were the urban chic live and the neighborhood is the walk of fame, with their new album release HOLLYHOOD (Phil’erzy Productions) on September 28, 2010.
Bruner & Jones have placed themselves in the driver’s seat, writing, producing, performing and evening mixing Hollyhood. The duo has crafted songs that tell a story from falling in love to falling on drugs. Inspired by the well crafted songs by r&b greats, songs on Hollyhood tells stories of your everyday folks.
“ We wanted to write songs that reflect what we see and hear everyday in our neighborhood where the people are fabulous and urban, said Terry. Hollyhood is the culture of the urban chic and we wanted to put some those stories to music which deal with, relationships, substance abuse, work and paint a picture of the Hollyhood we know and love, said Helen.”
Bruner & Jones will brand Hollyhood with the introduction of the Hollyhood Fashion Line on the same date as the release of their album on September 28, 2010, the line will feature, tees, handbags, caps, and jeans ( available through Philerzy Productions website). “One of the things we love is fashion so why not do a Hollyhood fashion line that works with the styles we want to wear for our urban chic lifestyle.” Bruner and Jones will perform on the Indie Soul Sistah Tour to support Hollyhood the first show kicks off in Philadelphia on October 13, 2010 at World Café Live other 2010 dates & cities include , November 5, Newark, NJ (Key Club), November 21,Santa Monica CA (Zanzibar), and December 8, New York (SOBS), more dates to be announced.
